Martial Arts
The practice of Kung-Fu consists of self-defence, fitness and self-confidence; the mental and physical discipline used in Kung-Fu has benefits for everyone. Self-confidence grows with time in the class, with a calm and more peaceful person typically developing. Kung-Fu removes a lot of insecurity and doubt from an individual and therefore removes a lot of internal emotional conflict, leading to a more harmonious and balanced life style.
PHYSICAL ASPECTS
Kung-fu is a descriptive term for martial arts, while similar to boxing, kickboxing use the feet just like the hands to block and attack. It can be practiced for general health, or as the fight sport. Martial Art represents a set of discipline or sports of combat that use the feet and the fists.
Kung-fu also reduces and relieves stress. Its rigorous workout - controlled punching and kicking movements carried out with the discipline and skills required for martial arts - can do wonders for feelings of frustration. Practicing Martial Arts moves help to improve balance, flexibility, coordination, and endurance.
Martial Arts is the fastest growing sport in the world. it encompasses disciplines from various martial arts.
The main features of MA are its exciting combination of striking and grappling techniques from standing or seated or ground positions, allowing a range of sports persons with fighting training to compete.
Kung-fu is the art of striking and grappling. It is a combination of punches, kicks and strikes with long and short ranges, grappling, joint locks, and strangling and nerve holds designed to restrain an opponent. Used as a self defence system, it will enhance self-control, self-discipline, muscular development, fitness, agility, flexibility, balance and co-ordination.
