OBJECTIVES OF THE TRUST

The objects of the trust are helping to Poor and Needy People., they are as follows

  • To provide educational, social, cultural, Food, Clothes economical and medical relief to the poor, needy and downtrodden and advancement of any other charitable and developmental objects of general public utility and community welfare.

  • To promote the welfare of the socially, economically downtrodden people, the unemployed youth & Disabled people and to help, motivate, conducts seminars and workshops, training and capacity-building; implementing demonstration projects; conducting advocacy work in partnership with the government; and the promotion of regional and international cooperation and support in all possible ways in order to make themselves reliant and self-supportive.

  • To promote welfare sangams, women welfare groups, youth groups and support to develop them carrier-oriented activities.

  • To create a society where people are placed at the centre of all development initiatives ensuring social justice

  • To ensure social justice, economic and educational and political enhancement to the disadvantaged sections of the society, focusing on women and children, through developing mechanism aiming at service delivery and capacity building

  • To establish, maintain, and/or grant aid in cash and/or kind to schools, colleges, educational institutions, hostels, hospitals, old age homes, orphanages, youth clubs, sports clubs, libraries, child and women welfare centres and/or such other similar charitable institutions in India for the benefit and use of the public in general

  • To establish, support, acquire, run and/or grant aid and other financial assistance to schools, colleges, libraries, reading rooms, hospitals, hostels, and other institutions of like nature at any place or places in the Indian Union for use of the students and the staff and also generally for the development and/or advancement of education and dissemination of knowledge amongst the public in general

  • To establish Medical and/or Medical Donation camps and/or Awareness programmes for example Blood Donation, Organ Donation and all possible medical support and awareness to the needy people with or without free of cost for their wellbeing.

  • To establish and/or grant aid for the establishment and maintenance of environmental and natural parks, sports, clubs and other akharas, tube wells, wells and water works for supply of safe drinking water and improve sanitation for the use of public in general

  • To provide help to urban and rural poor in getting essential services such as health, nutrition, education, income generation and housing

  • To provide help to the needy, the desirable, the physically and mentally handicapped and the poor without any distinction of caste, creed, colour and sex

  • To grant scholarships, prizes, stipends, loans and research fellowships to children, youth, adult and women

  • To grant relief during natural calamities, such as famine, flood, fire and other occasion of calamities of similar nature and to give donations, subscriptions or contributions to institutions, establishments or persons during such relief work

  • To organise social, cultural and environmental activities through channelising youth energy into constructive and creative directions

  • To associate/affiliate and render assistance and/or grant aid to other public charitable trust or institutions having objectives similar to this trust.

  • To establish a network for Societies/Trusts/or other CSOs

  • To provide the help to needy artisans for the marketing of their handicraft articles

  • To promote, establish, run and manage health service facilities including nursing home, medical clinics and health centres staffed with doctors and nurses who are able to provide nursing care and basic health services to the local community.

  • To establish, run and manage Health Centres, Veterinary Hospitals, Refugee Settlements, Orphanages and rehabilitation centres.

  • To raise basic health standards of the rural masses particularly of scheduled caste / scheduled tribes / weaker section by conducting annual free medical and eye camps, and by providing medicines free of cost.

  • To work for alleviation of poverty and for getting social justice for poorer, weaker and downtrodden section of the society, both in rural areas and urban slums focusing particularly on street children.

  • To work for the upliftment and empowerment of women by promoting literacy among girls/women, and by supporting income generation activities and other life skills.

  • To conserve, protect and promote natural resources such as water, forest, minerals etc. by popularizing afforestation/tree planting in the community, introducing water harvesting techniques, and advocating sustainable exploitation and use of minerals.

  • To introduce simple and sustainable technologies and practices for improved water and sanitation facilities, and waste disposal.

  • To work with the Government and other Non-Governmental Organisations on major programmes for replantation of deforested areas, conservation of water sheds, and the protection of lakes and other water sources.

  • To establish, manage and run Centres for the study and protection of ecology and/or environment.

  • To promote, organize and render relief, charitable and benevolent services and all other ancillary services to the victims of war, civil disturbance, riot, famine, earthquake, flood, epidemic and other natural calamities.

  • To work for national integration and to promote communal harmony between different religions and population groups by promoting values of tolerance, peace and compassion in the community, and by supporting inter-faith dialogue and peace building measures where appropriate.

  • To establish, manage and maintain institutions for intensive training in yoga and meditation for the development of individuals who can promote a culture of tolerance, peace and harmony and work actively to diffuse communal tensions.

  • To promote and support mental health and psychological-social counselling services with an effective outreach to the vulnerable groups, especially those women who are distressed, depressed and suicidal and in need of active intervention.

  • To promote and support health/ family welfare centres and/or camps for education on preventive healthcare, awareness about major health issues including on HIV/AIDS, and psychological-social counselling for drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

  • To support the establishment and management of institutions for alcohol and drug rehabilitation in partnership with NGOs with necessary expertise.

  • To promote, establish and manage monasteries of the Karma Kagyu Lineage and other cultural and religious institutions, orphanages, old people’s home, blind schools, professional colleges and research centres.

  • To use various medium of communication to sensitize the masses and create awareness among them in matters of environmental and social issues.

  • To build in-house capacity for effective communication of the Trusts aims, objectives, results and reporting thereon both within and with external partners including press and electronic media to garner support for Trusts key projects and activities.

  • To produce, print, publish, sell and purchase books, magazines, bulletins, leaflets, journals, audio visual material, documentation etc, for the spread and advancement of education, fine arts, culture and religion.

  • To establish, maintain Dharamsala, rest houses, hostels and other institutions as they shall in their controlled discretion see fit for the benefit of general public.

  • To promote, subscribe, assist and carry on the activities of any other society, association, organization, whether incorporated or not, having aims objectives similar to the aims and objectives of the trust.

  • To hold discussions, conferences and symposiums and seminars on subjects and matters associated with the objects of the trust.

  • To work in cooperation with other persons, associations, societies, institutions, foundations and organisations, national and international, incorporated or not and to provide for representation of the trust in national and international conferences in the pursuit of all or any of the above objects of the trust

  • To construct, repair and manage the marghats, cemeteries, burial grounds and religious places etc. to backwards and poor residents.

  • To grant aid or render assistance to other public charitable trusts or institutions.

Any of the objects shall not be profit motive and further that the trust will not function in the nature of conduction of business activity and for the purpose of profit.
